Typical Costs

The combination of tuition, fees and associated expenses at Biola University requires students to carefully calculate their financial resources and costs. A helpful tool to allow students to plan for the full range of possible costs in their academic program is the “Cost of Attendance” document for the applicable year.

Please note that “Cost of Attendance” information is only a generalized, estimated cost, primarily designed to set a maximum allowable combination of scholarships, grants, and loans if a student applies and qualifies for those funds. Additionally, since the “Cost of Attendance” includes estimated costs that a student might incur, but which are not billed by Biola (such as transportation expenses), it is not representative of a student’s expected net cost that will be required by Biola. To determine a more accurate net cost after financial aid, students should consult their student account balance once it becomes available or use the combination of their financial aid offer letter and the Semester Payment Calculator

However, to assist students in understanding the full range of possible costs, including those that may come from outside Biola, students can view the “Cost of Attendance” information via the Biola Office of Financial Aid website for the applicable academic year.
